Every Character In Marvel's Inhumans Explained

                    The Marvel's Inhumans got premiered on 29th of September and it featured different characters of Inhumans royal family (Main characters of Inhumans).

In this article, I have described every character in Inhumans royal family. I have described their identities, powers/abilities.

Marvel's Inhumans

Black Bolt:

                  Blackagar Boltagon aka Black Bolt the most important character in the Inhumans Royal Family. Black Bolt is member and leader of Inhumans royal family. Black Bolt is enigmatic, commanding head of Inhumans royal family and king of Attilan (His father was the king before him).

What makes Black Bolt so special is his voice which is so loud and destructive. Black Bolt's voice is so powerful that he can destroy a lot of things just by uttering a single word through his mouth. In the first episode of Marvel's Inhumans, Black Bolt accidentally kills his parents just by saying 'Why?' through his mouth. Because of this Black Bolt doesn't talk. He remains silent and uses sign language or a spokesperson to communicate.

Black Bolt got his powers after undergoing the Terrigenesis. Terrigenesis is the process of exposure to Terrigen Mists. Terrigenesis allows Inhumans to inhale the mists obtained from Terrigen Crystal in order to activate their Inhuman genes and to ascend as metahumans. 

In a nutshell, Terrigenesis allows Inhumans to get their powers. Black Bolt's electron-harnessing ability is linked to the speech center of his brain and hence Black Bolt can trigger a massive disturbance in the form of highly destructive shockwave by speaking.

The character Black Bolt has undergone rigorous mental training to prevent himself from uttering a sound. The fork-like antenna on Black Bolt's head allows him to control his voice and use his powers properly. However Black Bolt in the TV show doesn't have the antenna on his head, But it will be added as the character will improve.

Medusa:

                          Medusa is cousin and wife of Black Bolt. She is the queen of Attilan. She is someone who totally understands Black Bolt. When Black Bolt was young and used to spend most of his time alone in his cell for training himself to control his abilities, Medusa was the one who gave him moral support. Because of the Black Bolt's dangerous abilities, Nobody was friendly with Black Bolt. Almost everybody feared Black Bolt and stayed away from him. Medusa wasn't one of them. Instead of running from Black Bolt, Medusa became friend with him. Medusa and Black Bolt created a sign language to communicate with each other. Thus, they created a bond with each other.

After getting exposed to Terrigen mists in the Terrigenesis process, Medusa got those long thick hairs which can do great things. Medusa can use her hairs to lift things, trap things, etc. Moreover, she can elongate her hairs to attack someone.

Karnak

                     Now the next character in Karnak. Karnak Mander-Azur aka Karnak is also a member of Inhumans royal family and cousin of Black Bolt. Karnak is kind of Intelligent guy with a highly developed intellect that is why Inhumans royal family trusts Karnak for taking different decisions. In addition to that Karnak is a priest of Inhumans.

As an Inhuman, going through Terrigenesis and getting extraordinary powers was Karnak's birthright but He never actually got exposed to Terrigen mists because he denied going through Terrigensis process. That is why Karnak doesn't have any Inhuman power but Karnak is a great Martial artist and he has the ability to predict things and act accordingly that is why Karnak doesn't loose with his opponent as he predicts his opponent's moves.

Gorgon:

                         Now the next one is Gorgon. Gorgon Petragon aka Gorgon is also a member of Inhumans royal family and he is also a cousin of Black Bolt (😆Looks like everybody is Black Bolt's cousin). Gorgon is a man of power. He is so powerful hence he is chosen as King Black Bolt's bodyguard. Gorgon's responsibility is to protect his King and Attilan from outside dangers. He is also responsible for training youths in Attilan, training them to use their abilities.

Just like the other Inhumans, Gorgon has also gone through Terrigenesis and got some interesting powers. After getting exposed to Terrigen mists Gorgon got extra strength and his feet transformed into hooves. Gorgon has bull's leg and hooves which can generate intense shockwaves equivalent to a powerful Earthquake.

Triton:

                 Triton Mander-Azur is the brother of Karnak and cousin of Black Bolt. He is also a member of Inhumans royal family. Basically, Triton is an Inhuman with fish like properties and abilities. The exposure to Terrigen mists that is Terrigenesis process gave Triton abilities to survive in water, swim at great speed, breathe in water, withstand pressures of the deep sea. Terrigenesis also changed the physical look of Triton by converting him into a fish like green colored Inhuman with fish like fins on his head and back.

Crystal:

                            Now comes Crystal, Crystallia Amequelin Maximoff is Medusa's sister and cousin of Blck Bolt. She is also a member of Inhumans royal family. Crytal is a girl with pretty interesting abilities like controlling the elements in the environment.

Due to the Terrigenesis process Crystal has got this very interesting powers by using which she can control the four classical elements, air, earth, fire, and water. She can manipulate these elements to do different things. Manipulating elements allows her to control air, fire, earth, and water as she desires.

Lockjaw:

                         Lockjaw is the family dog of Inhumans royal family. Lockjaw is a bulldog like being with very big size and has got different abilities. Lockjaw got his powers from Terrigenesis process. Lockjaw can teleport himself and others wherever he wants. He can teleport things and living creatures from earth to moon and moon to earth. Lockjaw can create passages between dimensions. Moreover, Lockjaw has superior strength and power, He can swallow inorganic material like scrap, robots, etc without any effect on his body. As a beloved pet, there has always been a bond between Lockjaw and Crystal.

Maximus:

                               Those were the good guys I mentioned above. Now the bad guy. Maximus Boltagon, also known as Maximus the mad is the brother of Black Bolt and tries to overthrow him time to time. Maximus is a brother who is jealous of Black Bolt and wants to be better than him. (getting that Loki like feeling? Yeah! it is something like that.) Maximus wants to rule Attilan and Inhumans in his own way. After undergoing Terriegensis Maximus got mind control abilities. However, in the Inhumans TV show it is shown that Terrigenesis turned Maximus into merely a human. Maximus uses an Inhuman called Bronaja (with the ability to see future) to do his evil work.
